Instant Payments! Yes, Global Instant Payments
We are extremely excited to be launching the big part of borderless 2.0 which is instant payments. In this release we have made some major updates expanding our capabilities. Here is a list of our changes:
Feature Release (in beta):
- Instant Payments! We have created a new payment delivery method between on-boarded accounts’ balances.
- User can now send instant payments in 13 currencies
- Users can use their multi-currency balances to pay foreign currencies to other users instantly. The funds will appear in their borderless balance within 30 minutes.
- This feature is in beta. If have any feedback or find any issues, please contact us at support@getborderless.com
New:
- Increased our global country coverage to include Venezuela, Bolivia, Suriname, Aruba, Bahamas, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Samoa, and Paraguay.
- We expanded our currency coverage to include BOB, PYG, LKR, WST, TZS, UGX.
- New step during normal payments: Select payment delivery method and payout method.
- Initiated a wrong wire? Cancel wire funding without contacting support.
- New look for display of exchange rates.
- Add payment methods page as a tab in settings page
Improvements & Bug Fixes:
- Add funds modal review screen without back button
- Improved security measures.
- API: Added External Contact REST endpoint
- Email: Instant payment email changes.
- Added flat fee for high volume clients

Avatar Upload & More Countries
We are extremely excited to be launching a much needed feature, avatar upload. Here is a list of our changes:

- Upload your own image as a public avatar.
New:
- Increased our global country coverage to include Ecuador, Panama, Peru, Guatemala, Ethiopia, Tunisia
- Other miscellaneous bug fixes.
Multi-Currency Balances Are Here!
We are extremely excited to be launching the ground work for borderless 2.0. In this release we have made some major updates to our new look and our new capabilities. Here is a list of our changes:
Feature Release (in beta):
- Balances! We have created a new menu tab called balances. This tab will now give users the ability to add funding balances in different currencies and manage their multi-currency balances.
- User can now exchange and hold 13 different currencies!
- Users can use their multi-currency balances to pay in foreign currencies. They will pay all the fees in their home currency when doing so.
- Users can now have wire instructions to provide to clients and receive funds in 5 different currencies with $0 incoming wire fees. Going global has never been this easy!
- Users can set a preferred funding balance other than their main account.

New:
- Increased our global country coverage to include Sweden, Malaysia, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Morocco, and Taiwan.
- We expanded our currency coverage to include SEK, MYR, VND, MAD, CZK, SAR, AFN, TWD.
- New Look! We have adjusted the borderless look to make it more user intuitive and mobile friendly. We also changed the font styles and colors for an easier read.
- Light and Classic mode are now available for the dashboard.
- Adjusted header to include support such as email and tutorials.
- Added account number and role under settings wheel for easy access.
- Added payment method in payment process for better UX.
- Tutorials: Added new Group mass payouts tutorial video
Improvements & Bug Fixes:
- India: Enhanced the verification process for Indian beneficiaries to include place of birth to speed up beneficiary approval.
- Hong Kong: Adjusted the Tax ID for business accounts.
- Nigeria: Adjusted Tax ID format.
- API: Added SupportedCountries REST endpoint
- Email: We adjusted our email notification to better communicate estimated arrival times for beneficiaries.
- Email: Wire information will open directly from email.
- ID Upload: Improved ID upload process in Europe.
- Multi-Currency Plans: Adjusted the currency capabilities and display of multi-currency plans.
- Payment Details: Adjusted the view to add fees for transparency.
- Other miscellaneous bug fixes.
